Hyderabad: Union Minister for Coal and Mines, G Kishan Reddy, reviewed the ongoing railway development projects under the South Central Railway (SCR) zone along with senior railway officials at Rail Nilayam on Saturday. During the meeting, SCR General Manager Sanjay Kumar Srivastava gave a detailed presentation on projects, ongoing surveys, and train services in Telangana.
Kishan Reddy requested officials to expedite major projects, including the upgradation of Secunderabad railway station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Highlighting the long-term vision of the projects, the Minister said the development works were being planned to meet passenger needs for the next 50 to 60 years.
