University of Hyderabad launches third AI Faculty Development Programme
The University of Hyderabad inaugurated the third cohort of its five-day Faculty Development Programme on Artificial Intelligence, training college faculty from Andhra Pradesh in practical AI applications. Hands-on sessions aim to enhance teaching and research capabilities across multiple disciplines.

Hyderabad: The third cohort of a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Artificial Intelligence was inaugurated at the University of Hyderabad under the aegis of the Executive Education Cell, School of Management Studies, in association with Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam and the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education (CCE), Government of Andhra Pradesh.
The FDP aims to train faculty members from the undergraduate degree and professional colleges in Andhra Pradesh in subject-specific applications of Artificial Intelligence across different academic cohorts.
The first cohort (Commerce & Management and Life Sciences) has undergone the five-day training from March 2 to 6 and the second cohort (Arts & Humanities and Mathematical Sciences) has undergone training from March 9 to 13.
During the five-day intensive programme, participants will receive hands-on training from professors at the University of Hyderabad and other domain experts. The sessions are designed to equip faculty members with practical knowledge and tools to integrate Artificial Intelligence applications into their respective teaching and research areas.
