University of Hyderabad opens applications for B.Optom. Programme through NEET UG 2026

The University of Hyderabad has opened applications for its five-year Bachelor of Optometry programme for the 2026–27 academic year. Admissions will be based on NEET UG 2026 scores, with applications closing on August 7 and counselling scheduled for August 21.

Hyderabad: The University of Hyderabad (UoH) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for admission to its 5-Year Bachelor of Optometry (B Optometry) degree programme for the Academic Year 2026-27.

Admissions to the programme will be conducted based on candidate performance in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. Candidates who have appeared for NEET 2026 and meet the prescribed eligibility criteria are eligible to apply.

The last date for online application is August 7, and the publication of provisional selection and waiting lists will be on August 12. Physical reporting, counselling & document verification will be on August 21.
