Hyderabad: The third film in the HIT series, HIT: The Third Case, hit screens on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and it’s already creating a strong impact at the box office. From the moment its teaser, trailer, and posters were released, the film grabbed attention — especially because of one hot topic: comparisons with the Malayalam action thriller Marco, known as one of India’s most violent films.

Many viewers and critics have pointed out the similarities in the tone and intensity of both films. The violent action scenes in HIT 3 reminded audience of Marco, adding more hype to Nani’s latest outing.

Despite some slow moments in the second half, HIT: The Third Case has won over both celebrities and regular moviegoers. Nani’s gripping performance and the film’s tight storytelling are drawing crowds, with packed houses being reported all over.

With the comparisons growing louder, Telangana Today reached out to Marco star Unni Mukundan to hear his thoughts. His response was nothing short of classy. “I have not watched the film yet. But I’m happy knowing about the comparisons with Marco, though I think there is nothing to compare about. I’m a huge fan of Nani and I wish the film all the best and hope it does even better than Marco at the box office,” he said.

Unni’s humble and supportive response has won hearts, showing the respect and healthy admiration actors have for each other across film industries.

With the film’s gripping narrative and thrilling action, HIT: The Third Case seems to have struck the right chord with its audience. It continues its successful run, showing no signs of slowing down in theatres.

As Nani delivers yet another intense performance, fans are calling this the best in the HIT franchise so far. And with praises pouring in from all corners, it looks like HIT 3 is well on its way to becoming one of the biggest hits of the year.
