Peddapalli town as well as surrounding areas witnessed heavy rainfall. Paddy stored in purchasing centres was soaked in rainwater.

Karimnagar: Unseasonal rains coupled with strong winds hit many places in the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Saturday evening.
Peddapalli town as well as surrounding areas witnessed heavy rainfall. Paddy stored in purchasing centres was soaked in rainwater.
While mangoes fell to the ground, trees, electric poles were also damaged due to the strong winds.
