Hyderabad: Towards shaping the future of digital health and interdisciplinary research, the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and The Apollo University (TAU), Chittoor, renewed their MoU for another three years, broadening its original scope to integrate cutting-edge artificial intelligence, management, biological sciences, and clinical expertise.

Building on the foundation laid between 2022 and 2025—which focused primarily on the School of Life Sciences through student research training, summer internships, and cancer awareness drives, the 2026–2029 framework expands to encompass three major academic units at UoH – School of Life Sciences, School of Medical Sciences and

School of Management Studies.

A central pillar of the renewed MoU is its emphasis on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data in Healthcare. Joint research teams will focus on AI-enabled diagnostics, predictive healthcare analytics, intelligent clinical decision-support systems, smart hospital management, telemedicine, and biomedical data science.
