UoH faculty chosen for SGAT Award of Excellence

Hyderabad: The Society of Geoscientists and Allied Technologists (SGAT), Bhubaneswar has selected Dr. KS Krishna, Professor, Geophysics and Head, Centre for Earth, Ocean and Atmospheric Sciences, School of Physics, University of Hyderabad (UoH) for SGAT Award of Excellence for the year 2021. The award will be presented at Bhubaneswar during the SGAT annual general body meeting scheduled to be held on December 18.
Dr. Krishna is a PhD in Marine Geophysics from Andhra University and specializes in Lithospheric dynamics, Tectonics, Plate Tectonics, and Marine Geophysics. He is recipient of the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize for the year 2001 in the discipline of Earth, Atmosphere, Ocean and Planetary sciences.
“I am happy that my continued research at UoH and its work ambience helped me to sustain my vigour of work,” Dr Krishna said.
