UoH professor appointed Pondicherry University V-C

Presently, Prof. Babu is serving as the senior faculty in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, UoH and has been appointed as the PU V-C for a period of five years

Hyderabad: University of Hyderabad (UoH) senior professor Phanithi Prakash Babu has been appointed as the Vice-Chancellor of Pondicherry University.

In her capacity as the Visitor of Pondicherry University, President Droupadi Murmu appointed Prof. Babu as the PU V-C for a period of five years.

An order to this effect has been issued by the Union Ministry of Education on Thursday. Presently, Prof. Babu is serving as the senior faculty in the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics, UoH.
