Hyderabad: The wife of Mega Power Star Ram Charan, Upasana Kamineni Konidela, is known to be an advocate of sustainable living. So much so that the vice-chairperson of Apollo Life has revealed that she doesn’t mind repeating her outfits! In fact, Upasana recently revealed that the elegant outfit she opted for her sister Anushpala Kamineni’s big fat wedding has been in her wardrobe for almost a decade.
Ace fashion designer Anamika Khanna recreated her ‘Pochamma panduga’ outfit from nine years ago for the special occasion. “I take so much pride in repeating and preserving clothes. I believe quality shopping is better for the planet than quantity. Clothes that have emotions attached are priceless,” Upasana shared.
At a time when celebrities make sure to not repeat their outfit twice and are obsessed with ‘airport looks’, Upasana’s ideology is like a breath of fresh air. Actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu was all praises for Upasana as well as she commented, “Beautiful” on her post. “Your thoughts are so inspiring,” added a fan named Sindhu Srinivasulu.
Meanwhile, Anushpala is all set to tie the knot with Armaan Ebrahim, a car racer from Chennai. He is the son of the ex-Indian F3 champion Akbar Ebrahim. Currently, pre-wedding festivities are going on in full swing.
