Hyderabad: On the occasion of his birthday, Telangana State BC Commission member, Ch. Upendra joined the Green India Challenge initiated by Rajya Sabha member, J Santosh Kumar and planted saplings on the premises of Karmanghat Anjaneyaswamy temple, here on Friday.
Upendra thanked Santosh Kumar for initiating the Green India Challenge that aims at increasing the green cover and protecting the environment. It is the responsibility of every citizen to contribute to the campaign and join it by planting saplings, he said. Several TRS party functionaries and others were present.
