Hyderabad: A 31 year-old woman died by suicide at her house in Gachibowli reportedly upset over not getting a government job.
According to the police, V Balamani (31), a native of Andhra Pradesh stayed at Gachibowli in the city along with her husband and children.
On Tuesday night, the woman had dinner along with her family and all of them went to sleep later.
“On Wednesday morning, the family members found Balamani hanging to the ceiling fan in a room in their house. Her husband told us she had slipped into depression over not getting a government job though she appeared for various recruitment exams in Andhra Pradesh,” said Gachibowli sub inspector, K Shashipal Reddy.
A case is registered.
