Upset over son’s death, man ends life in Telangana’s Karimnagar

Karimnagar: Unable to digest the death of his son, a man died by suicide at Mannempalli in Thimmapur mandal.

Sirikonda Thirupathi Rao, who consumed pesticides, breathed his last while undergoing treatment in hospital on Monday.


Thirupathi Rao was unhappy after the death of his son Nikhil, who ended his life by jumping into an agricultural well on March 10.

A BSc agriculture third-year student, Nikhil was addicted to online gaming and lost a huge sum of money. Though his parents reportedly cleared Rs 4 lakh of his debt, Nikhil took the extreme step.

Upset over the death of his son, Thirupathi Rao also took the extreme step.
