Hyderabad: A public toilet named ‘Urban Loo’ located outside Secunderabad Railway Station was inaugurated by Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav and Mayor G Vijaya Laxmi on Monday.
This pay & use facility also has a sanitary napkin dispenser and a baby changing space, with the toilets being fitted with waterless, odourless urinals and shower facilities.
“The idea of having this kind of multipurpose washroom has been inspired by the vision of Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department and Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation,” said Kumud Ranjan Kumar, Director of Toilets & Toilets Pvt. Ltd, the company that built and operates Urban Loo.
