US-based teen Carnatic singer to present charity concert at JNTU Auditorium
Fifteen-year-old Carnatic vocalist Sia Nagasri Jayakumar from California will perform a benefit concert, Sangeetha Seva Saadhana, at JNTU Auditorium in Hyderabad on July 11. The proceeds will support Saadhana Welfare Society and its work for intellectually challenged individuals.

Hyderabad: Fifteen-year-old Carnatic vocalist Sia Nagasri Jayakumar, a high school student from San Jose, California, USA, will present a special benefit concert titled ‘Sangeetha Seva Saadhana’ on July 11 at 4:30 pm at JNTU Auditorium, Kukatpally.
The concert is being organised by Carnatica Global in association with Global Arts Temple USA as part of Harmony Resonance, a unique initiative launched by the young artiste to support social causes through music. The proceeds will support Saadhana Welfare Society, an organisation dedicated to the care and empowerment of intellectually challenged individuals.
A disciple of Carnatic maestro Vidwan K N Shashikiran, Sia represents a new generation of globally connected young Indians who are preserving classical traditions while using art as a vehicle for social impact.
She will be accompanied by an accomplished ensemble featuring Vid Srihari Vittal (Violin), Vid Peravali Jaya Bhaskar (Mridangam) and Vid B Janardhan (Ghatam).
The event is open to all music lovers, philanthropists, and cultural enthusiasts.
