US couple’s dance on ‘Chammak Challo’ takes the internet by storm

Dressed up in Indian traditional attire, Ricky Pond and his wife Roxanne Pond, danced to the song ‘Chammak Challo’ to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary.

Hyderabad: A video of a US couple grooving to Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Chammak Challo’ from the movie ‘Ra.One’ is making waves on social media. The dancing dad with four kids, as his profile description says, danced to the song with his wife.

The video has gone viral on Instagram, racking up more than 2 lakh views, 31,000 likes and hundreds of comments. Several netizens also grooved with the couple and showered wishes for their wedding anniversary.

One user said, “I would have invited you both to my wedding reception with moves like that!” Another wrote, “You guys are awesome.”

A third user added, “Hahah really enjoyed it and Roxanne looks beautiful in this dress.”

“Happy Anniversary!! The outfits look fabulous!!” another comment read. “Cha gye uncle,” yet another posted.

Pond, who has 4,66,000 followers on Instagram, started the page last year amid the pandemic. As boredom struck him, he tried a Bollywood dance on someone’s suggestion last year. Soon, the video took netizens by storm.

And since then, the ‘dancing dad’ has been entertaining his followers by shaking a leg to songs from Bollywood, Punjabi, Haryanvi and also Tamil.
