US to allow students whose classes begin on or after August 1
The US Consulate asked the students to contact their respective educational institutions to discuss options if their start date is before August 1, 2021
Hyderabad: The United States Consulate General Hyderabad has on Tuesday said student visa holders would be able to enter the US if their classes start on or after August 1 this year.
“Under the current Presidential Proclamation, student visa holders are able to enter the United States if their classes start on or after August 1, 2021. We are unfortunately unable to approve exceptions for F visa holders with a program start date before August 1, 2021,” said a tweet from the official handle of the US Consulate General in Hyderabad.
