Usha Uthup performs live at Wings India 2026 for Air India Express cultural showcase

Air India Express stole the spotlight at Wings India 2026 with a live Usha Uthup performance and the showcase of VT-RNT, its first line-fit Boeing 737-8, featuring a Parsi Gara-inspired livery and designed to the airline’s new brand standards.

Hyderabad: Air India Express took centre stage with a cultural showcase featuring a special live performance by Usha Uthup, against the backdrop of its first line-fit Boeing 737-8 aeroplane, VT-RNT, on the third day of Wings India.

As the tarmac of the Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad transformed into a high-energy concert space, the full-house performance drew thousands of attendees. Joining Usha Uthup were artistes from Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu.

One of the highlights of the static display at Wings India was the showcase of VT-RNT, featuring a livery inspired by Parsi Gara embroidery. VT-RNT is the first of the airline’s factory line-fit aeroplanes, designed and configured by Boeing to the airline’s new product and brand standards.
