Warangal Urban: An Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the Vaagdevi Pharmacy College, Bollikunta, near here was awarded PhD degree by Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvadyalayam, (Women’s University), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.
In a press note here on Tuesday, Swapna Reddy said that she had received the certificate from the University online on Tuesday. She did her PhD on the topic “Isolation, Characterization and Evaluation of Novel Phytoantimalarials Targeting the Vector” under the supervision of Dr B Ramya Kuber, Associate Professor at the Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, and successfully defended the viva-voce examination.
College Secretary Dr Ch Devender Reddy, Joint Secretary Dr Ch Satyapal Reddy, Director of Pharmacy Colleges, Prof Y Madhusudhan Rao, Principal Dr Kamal Yadav, PRO Dr P Yellaiah and other staff congratulated Swapna Reddy for obtaining the PhD degree.
