Hyderabad: A fine all-round show by K. Vamshi Vidyath, who scored 55 (36b, 8×4) and took two wickets, helped Warangal Warriors defeat Hyderabad Hurricanes by 18 runs in the Champions 11 Cricket League T20 Tournament at AYR Cricket Stadium, Almasguda, here on Monday.
Batting first, the Warriors scored 158 in 16.4 overs, with Vamshi being the top scorer.
In reply, the Hurricanes were restricted to 140/9 in 20 overs, with Vamshi, who was named Player of the Match, picking up two wickets.
