Hyderabad: Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG college for women inaugurated Kasturba Vana Vatika in the college premises here on Tuesday. The college inaugurated the environment part which consists of a herbal garden, butterfly garden and composting pit. S N Umakanth, chief manager – ITC, Wow – CSR, Chairman N.Surender, Secretary Maj G Shiv Kiran and Treasurer Abdul Hameed Farooqui participated in the event.

Swachatha pledge was taken and all the dignitaries planted the saplings. An MOU was signed with Urban Rebox IT Pvt Ltd, an agency of ITC as a step towards waste management, a press release said.
