Warangal: President, Vasavi Clubs International, Dr Thiruveedhi Venugopal said that Vasavi Clubs International had been always there for the help of the poor and needy. As a part of the international courtesy visit to Warangal on Saturday, several charity programmes have been held under the leadership of the Vasavi Club of Warangal’s president Dr Vallala Pruthviraj. While four sewing machines have been handed over to the women at the club office in Warangal, solar power inverter has also been donated to the local ‘Kunti Bhadraiah’ temple. The club has also donated several other items including computer tables at Kashibugga Vivekananda Science Centre, 200 litres of sanitiser at Kakatiya University on Saturday. The total worth of the donated items is Rs two lakh.
Club Secretary Thota Markandeya, Club Treasurer Pallerla Veeranna, District Governor Garlapati Santosh, Warangal ex-mayor Gunda Prakash Rao, Malayala Veeramallaiah, Manepally Sudhakar, Chidarala Nagaraju, Gummadavelli Satyanarayana, Gummadavelli Suresh, Gannu Sampath, Aitha Gopinadh, Thota Narasaiah, Lingam, and other club members were present during these programmes.
