Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner, VC Sajjanar, on Sunday inspected the one-way traffic trial run being implemented around KBR Park.
As part of the Hyderabad City Innovative and Transformative Infrastructure (H-CITI) project, construction work for a steel flyover and underpass is underway within the jurisdictions of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills traffic police stations.
The Police Commissioner, along with Joint CP (Traffic) D Joel Davis, and other senior officials, covered the route from KBR Main gate to Basavatarakam Hospital, Agrasen Junction, Film Nagar, and Road No 45 up to Jubilee Hills check post to monitor vehicle movement during the trial run.
Sajjanar said the one-way trial run was conducted only for Sunday and regular traffic movement will be restored and allowed as usual from Monday.
“The observations and necessary improvements identified during the trial run will be analysed and shared with GHMC officials shortly for further action. Based on the feedback and improvements, another trial run for the one-way system will be conducted in the future after providing prior information to the public,” he added.
