Hyderabad: Vedhansh Sukhavasi of Unicent International School and Dudekula Maheera of Silver Oaks International School won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively in the A2H Children Under-9 chess tournament here on Saturday.

Vedhansh scored 4.5 points in five rounds, while Maheera emerged winner with four points.


Final placings:
Boys: 1. Vedhansh Sukhavasi, 2. Arvik Aditya Nutinki, 3. Dhanush.
Girls: 1. Dudekula Maheera, 2. Shaik Shazwa, 3. Riyanshi Dhanvi Nutinki.
