Nizamabad: Housing Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy slammed BJP leaders and warned them not to test to the patience of TRS leaders and cadres. In future, if BJP leaders level personal and false allegation against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, TRS activists will not allow them into villages and towns, he warned.
On Monday, the Minister participated in various programmes in Balkonda Assembly constituency of Nizamabad district. He said that the BJP leaders were making false allegations against the Chief Minister and other TRS leaders.
He said the Chief Minister had developed Telangana on various fronts and was introducing development schemes, providing sufficient water and uninterrupted power to the agriculture sector. He alleged that BJP leaders on the other hand had deceived turmeric farmers by promising them to sanction a turmeric board within five days after the party won the Nizamabad MP seat. “But one and half years later, the BJP MP is not even responding on it,” he remarked.
Prashanth Reddy said BJP State president Bandi Sanjay, if he had the capability, should try to get national status to the Kaleshwaram project and strive to get Central funds allocated for the Mission Bhagiratha scheme.
