Nizamabad: Telangana government keenly observing the covid situation at field level, providing sufficient oxygen, remdesivir injections, and medicines in the hospitals, conducting household survey to control pandemic said Roads and Buildings Minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy.
On Sunday, Prashanth Reddy inspected Velpur, Bheemgal, Morthad and Kammarpally mandals and inspected covid control measures, lockdown, and household survey.
On the occasion Prashanth Reddy said that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao sent them to supervise covid control measures in erstwhile Nizamabad district. Minister appealed that people need not worry about the pandemic, Telangana government taking all the actions to control disease, put the required quantity of medicine, oxygen and injections and monitoring situation with Nizamabad and Kamareddy district collectors daily.
Minister appreciated the services of doctors, nursing staff, and Asha workers, their services are precious to society. Prashanth Reddy said that, in covid detection tests CT scan is very useful and decreased the CT scan test rates from 5,000 to 2,000 rupees, people should utilize it.
At the occasion minister visited Muchkuru and Santhosh Nagar tanda of Bheemgal mandal, Kammarpally mandal headquarters, Hasa Kotturu and Basheerabad of kammapally mandal, Lakkora, Ramannapet, and Velpur mandal headquarters of Velpur mandal and Morthad mandal headquarters. He interacted with people to know about the medical services provided by officials and also ordered the officials to issue full-fledge covid kit to infected patients, along with pamphlets.
