Vemulawada Town Ci Veeraprasad Producing The Kidnappers Before Meida In Vemulawada On Thursday
Rajanna-Sircilla: The Vemulawada police on Thursday rescued a woman, who was allegedly kidnapped, and arrested two persons including a woman from Nanded of Maharashtra. The accused were Lalu Nagorao Dayaranga Load and his wife Panchathula.
Producing the accused before media in Vemulawada town police station on Thursday, Circle Inspector Veeraprasad said a native of Kodimunja R&R colony in Vemulawada urban mandal, Pallapu Srinivas Venkatesh had entered an agreement with Lalu Nagorao and others to supply labourers, for which he took Rs 3.80 lakh from Nagorao. However, as Srinivas failed to supply labourers, Nagorao wanted his money back, over which both argued.
In order to collect the amount from Srinivas, Nagorao along with wife Panchathula and a few others arrived at the residence of Srinivas on Wednesday early morning. As Srinivas was not available, they kidnapped his mother Bheemabhai and took her to Nanded, Maharashtra. Based ona complaint lodged by Venkatesh, grandson of Bheemabhai, police began investigation. Two special teams, which were sent to Nanded, traced the woman and arrested Nagorao and his wife. Four others involved in the kidnap were absconding.
