Karimnagar: Elaborate arrangements were made for the celestial wedding of Sri Rama and Sita scheduled to be held in Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple, Vemulawada on Sunday.
Though it was a shaivite temple, there is a tradition to celebrate Sri Rama Navami in Vemulwada shrine wherein devotes especially transgender, shiva parvathulu and joginis would take part in a big way.
Devotees from different parts of Telangana as well as adjacent states such as Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharastra, and Chhattisgarh would take part in the celebrations. Besides arranging a dais for the celestial wedding, the temple is also decorated with attractive lighting. On the other hand, Vemulwada TSRTC depot officials have decided to operate special bus services on different routes.
They have decided to operate 100 buses in the Vemulawada-Warangal route, 25 services (50 trips) in Secunderabad, and eleven buses (44 trips) in Jagtial and Kondagattu routes.
