Venezuelan acting Prez Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez offers visits Prasanthi Nilayam

Puttaparthi: Acting President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Delcy Eloina Rodriguez Gomez visited Prasanthi Nilayam here in Sri Sathya Sai district and offered prayers to revered spiritual leader Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

Gomez arrived at the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, where she was received by Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust Managing Trustee RJ Rathnakar, Trust member Manohar Shetty and others before proceeding to the spiritual centre.

“Gomez visited Prasanthi Nilayam and offered prayers to Sri Sathya Sai Baba,” said a press release from the Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust late on Saturday.

She later visited Sai Kulwant Hall and paid obeisance at Bhagawan’s Sannidhi.

The Venezuelan leader spent a few moments in prayerful contemplation and paid her respects at the sacred abode of the spiritual leader.

According to the Trust, Gomez has visited Prasanthi Nilayam on earlier occasions and has often expressed admiration for Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s message of love, peace and selfless service.
