Hyderabad: Venkat Rishi Batlanki and Pushti Ladda won the boys and singles titles in contrasting styles in the AITA C7 under-16 tennis tournament that concluded at Sania Mirza Tennis Academy on Friday.
In the boys’ final, Venkat outplayed Parth Malik 6-0, 6-4. However, in the girls’ final, Ladda had wage a grim battle before beating Rishitha Basi Reddy 6-7 (3-7), 7-6 (7-4), 6-1 to win the title.
Imran Mirza gave away the prizes to the winners.
