Veterinary college teacher wins Verghese Kurien award
Dr Radhakrishna Pulikanti, Head of Physiology at PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, has been awarded the Dr Verghese Kurien National Excellence Award 2026 in recognition of his winning entry in the All-India Article Writing Competition on World Milk Day.

Jagtial: Dr Radhakriisshna Pulikanti, Head, Department of Physiology, College of Veterinary Science, PV Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, has been honored with the prestigious Dr Verghese Kurien National Excellence Award 2026.
He won the award in the academia category. The award was conferred in recognition of his outstanding achievement as the winner of the All India Article Writing Competition organized on the occasion of World Milk Day, celebrated on June 1, 2026.
The award was presented under the banner of Pashudhan Praharee, a leading platform dedicated to livestock and dairy development, with the support of several prominent veterinary, dairy, and agricultural organizations.
The selection process attracted participation from professionals, academicians, researchers, and experts from across the country, making the achievement highly competitive and nationally significant.
