Veterinary expert Radhakrishna wins Dr BR Ambedkar national icon award
Dr Radhakrishna Pulikanti, faculty at College of Veterinary Science, Korutla, has received the Dr B R Ambedkar National Icon Award for Veterinary Excellence. He was recognised for his contributions to academia, student mentoring, and livestock productivity research initiatives.

Jagtial: Faculty member in the Department of Physiology at College of Veterinary Science, Korutla, Dr Radhakrishna Pulikanti has been conferred with the prestigious Dr BR Ambedkar National Icon Award for veterinary excellence under the academia category. The award has been conferred by Pashudhan Praharee in association with leading veterinary and academic organizations including the Veterinary Association of India (VAI), AgroveT Foundation, and other national partners, on the occasion of World Veterinary Day on Saturday.
Radhakrishna has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to veterinary academia, along with his dedicated efforts in career counseling and facilitating placements for veterinary students. He is also acknowledged as an Editor of books advocating scientific advancements for enhancing profitable livestock productivity, contributing significantly to the national vision of “Viksit Bharat @ 2047.”
