Video: Heavy rains flood NH-65 in Sangareddy, traffic disrupted
Heavy rains wreaked havoc across Sangareddy district, flooding key stretches of NH-65 and paralysing traffic. Despite additional police deployment, congestion persisted as two-wheelers struggled through waterlogged roads. With the entire erstwhile Medak region lashed by rain, daily life came to a standstill.

Sangareddy: Heavy rains lashed Sangareddy district on Friday, flooding several stretches of the busy NH-65 and causing severe traffic congestion. Two-wheeler riders faced major difficulties as water stagnated up to two feet at multiple points.
Despite the deployment of additional police personnel, traffic snarls continued. Floodwater also damaged roads, creating potholes across several stretches, particularly between Muthangi and Rudraram in Patancheru mandal.
Not only NH-65 but also several other roads across the district were inundated, further disrupting vehicular movement. In Sangareddy town, low-lying areas were submerged as floodwater entered houses, worsening conditions for residents.
With the erstwhile Medak district witnessing relentless rainfall throughout the day, normal life remained severely affected.
