Vietnam boat incident: No enquiries from Telangana families to State government control room
The Telangana government has set up a control room after a boat carrying Indian tourists capsized near Phú Quốc Island, Vietnam. Officials confirm no reports of deaths or injuries among Telangana natives so far, with the General Administration Department coordinating with the Indian Embassy and Vietnamese authorities.

Hyderabad: The State Government has not received any confirmation over any Telangana natives’ deaths or injuries in the boat capsizing incident in Vietnam.
The General Administration Department (GAD) is in contact with the Indian Embassy and Vietnamese Police as well. “As on Saturday night, there is no communication from the Embassy. Similarly, there have been no enquiries from families in the State to our Control Room,” a senior official from GAD said.
The State government established a control room in the wake of a boat carrying Indian tourists capsizing near Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam. The control room has been established to facilitate coordination and to provide information to the families of affected persons.
