Hyderabad: As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week (VAW) from October 26 to November 1, South Central Railway (SCR) General Manager, Gajanan Mallya, launched a signature campaign in support of eradication of corruption in all spheres of public life, on Thursday, at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. All the senior officials of Railways took part in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Mallya stated that the Vigilance Awareness Week is a special drive to create awareness among the employees and general public against corruption. He emphasised that this programme will promote integrity and probity in public life, generate public awareness and publicise the adverse impacts of corruption.
The vigilance wing of SCR is organising several programmes during the week to promote awareness for routing out corruption and unethical practices from the system, and to bring improvements by utilising latest technology.
