Vigilance officials conduct checks at Vemulawada temple
Vigilance and Enforcement officials conducted checks at the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple in Karimnagar following irregularities found at the Basara Saraswathi temple. A three-member team verified attendance and salary records of 226 outsourcing employees working in various departments

Karimnagar: Vigilance and Enforcement officials conducted checks at the Sri Rajarajeshwara Swamy temple on Tuesday. The checks were carried out in the wake of irregularities exposed in attendance and salary payments to outsourcing employees at the Basara Saraswathi temple.
A three-member vigilance team verified attendance registers and salary payment records in the outsourcing department at the Vemulawada shrine. Officials found that a total of 226 outsourcing employees were working in laddu manufacturing, sales, sanitation, housekeeping and engineering departments.
Vigilance officials Kumar, Varun and Dinesh Reddy took part in the checks.
