Hyderabad: M Vihaan Krishna and J Shri Vishishta won the boys’ and girls’ under-eight category titles respectively in the seventh Mount Banyan Global School chess tournament here on Monday.

Final placings:
Boys:
Under-8: 1. M Vihaan Krishna, 2. D Jayant, 3. D Soorya Shoumik, 4. Siddhartha Shukla, 4. Aadil Shaik.
Under-10: 1. Saha Bhaswata, 2. S Vidush Nandan, 3. D Haragreeva Maruthi, 3. Jithin Koneti.
Under-12: 1. Abhimaan Deshpande, 2. GHSH Nandan Rao Degekar, 3. K Sresht Bharadwaj, 4. M Abhimanyu, 5. P Akshay.
Under-16: 1. K Sri Charan Tej, 2. B Keertan.


Girls:
Under-8: 1. J Shri Vishishta, 2. Y Laasritha Krishna, 3. P Ruhi.
