Hyderabad: As the severity of Omicron is increasing, there’s a palpable sense of uncertainty looming large in the Telugu film circles. Star Vijay Deverakonda has announced that his film has been called off inordinately due to the Omicron surge.
Taking to Twitter handle, the Telugu sensation posted a photograph in which he is seen chilling out with his pet white Siberian husky Storm Deverakonda. “Apparently it’s another wave Storm. Shoots cancelled. Back to us just chilling at home..,” he wrote.
Vijay will greet audiences in a completely different avatar for his upcoming sports drama ‘Liger’. Although the film directed by Puri Jagannadh will hit the screens on August 25 this year, the buzz that created around the film has been massive. The first glimpse of ‘Liger’ which was released on Dec 31 last year, shook YouTube as it clocked a massive record number of views.
