The happening actor down South Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie ‘Liger’ (Saala Crossbreed) resumed its Goa schedule on Wednesday. First pan-India film is being directed by Puri Jagannadh and is being bankrolled by Charmee Kaur, along with Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta.

A few high-octane action sequences and also some important scenes are being canned in the current schedule. “BLOOD. SWEAT. VIOLENCE. #LIGER Shoot Resumes(sic),” posted Vijay Deverakonda.

“BLOOD SWEAT VIOLENCE begins today .. #shootmode #beastmode #LIGER #salaacrossbreed @TheDeverakonda #purijagannadh @ananyapandayy @karanjohar @PuriConnects @DharmaMovies @apoorvamehta18 @IamVishuReddy @meramyakrishnan @RonitBoseRoy (sic),” tweeted producer Charmme Kaur who also shared a working still.

The poster has Vijay as an MMA fighter getting ready to enter the ring. It is learnt that foreign fighters are also taking part in the shoot of the ongoing schedule. Vijay appears in a completely new makeover and undergoes training in martial arts in the sports-action thriller. Bollywood actor Ananya Pandey is playing the female lead. In association with Puri Connects, the film is being produced jointly by Bollywood’s leading production house, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

Given it is a pan-India film, Puri Connects and Dharma Productions are making it on a grand scale without compromising on budget. The film in the crazy combination has cinematography handled by Vishnu Sarma while Kecha from Thailand is the stunt director.
Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy play prominent roles in ‘Liger’, which is being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
