Hyderabad: Tamil actor Vijay Sethupathi’s latest emotional drama ‘Baththa’, which won widespread critical acclaim during its theatrical run earlier this month, is all set for its digital premiere on Netflix on October 29 (Thursday). The makers announced that the film will be available in five languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
Directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and produced by filmmaker Atlee, Baththa released in theatres on October 1 and garnered strong reviews from both audience members and film critics for its storytelling and performances.
The plot revolves around a feared gangster named Baththa who finds himself trapped inside a school restroom by a young boy. The narrative explores the boy’s actions and the subsequent emotional transformation within the protagonist.
