Vijayawada man held in Hyderabad for drug possession; MDMA seized

Cyberabad police arrested a 22-year-old Vijayawada resident in Madhapur for possession and sale of MDMA and cannabis. The raid led to the seizure of narcotics, mobile phones, and weighing machines, while two suppliers remain absconding.

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Sunday arrested an individual who was in possession of ganja and was selling it to customers. The police seized 15 grams of MDMA, 38 grams of OG Kush ganja, nine mobile phones and two weighing machines from him.

The arrested man, Dhanekula Tharun Teja (22), a resident of Vijayawada, was caught during a raid at an apartment at Chandra Naik Thanda, Madhapur by the Cyberabad Special Operations Team and the Madhapur police.

According to the police, Tharun, was sourcing the ganja from Karthik and Pruthvi, both residents of Vijayawada and currently they are absconding.

The police found that eight persons who had come to the city were caught while they were consuming ganja in the flat. Action is being initiated against them.
