Vikarabad man kills wife, daughter and sister-in-law before committing suicide over domestic dispute
A domestic dispute in Vikarabad district turned tragic when a man allegedly murdered his wife, sister-in-law, and one daughter before dying by suicide. The elder daughter survived with injuries and is undergoing treatment. The incident occurred in Kulkacherla mandal and has prompted a police investigation.

Hyderabad: In a horrific incident, a 40-year-old man allegedly murdered his wife, daughter and sister-in-law and later died by suicide in Vikarabad district in the early hours of Sunday following a domestic dispute. Another daughter of the man escaped his attack but sustained injuries.
According to the police, Yadaiah (40) was married to Alevulu (32) and the couple along with their two daughters, aged 10 years and 14 years, lived at Kulkacherla mandal in Vikarabad.
For the last few days, the couple had been quarrelling due to unresolved domestic tensions. To sort out the issue, Hanumamma (40), sister-in-law of Yadaiah, came to their house at Kulkacherla mandal.
Yadiah, Alevulu and Hanumamma had heated discussions on Saturday. However, they could resolve the issues.
“During the night between 2.30 am and 3 am, Yadaiah took a sickle and attacked his wife, sister-in-law and his two daughters who were asleep. The elder daughter managed to escape from the house with injuries, while the other three people died,” said N Srinivas, DSP Vikarabad.
After killing the three persons, Yadaiah went into a room in the house and hanged himself from the ceiling fan.
Upon information through ‘Dial 100’ about the incident, the police reached the spot and after preliminary enquiries, shifted the bodies to the government hospital for post-mortem. A case was registered and further investigation is on.
The villagers told the police that the couple were fighting over some issues for the last three days and Hanumamma, the elder sister of Alevulu, came to their house to resolve the conflict. The elder daughter of Yadaiah, was shifted to hospital, where she is undergoing treatment.
