Villagers prepare lavish menu for CM KCR
Apart from the public meeting, Chief Minister KCR will take part in a community lunch with all the 2,600 residents of Vasalamarri village in a rain-proof tent that has been readied for the purpose.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Tuesday is visiting Vasalamarri village, which was adopted by him in October 2020.
Apart from the public meeting, where he is expected to announce development schemes, the Chief Minister will take part in a community lunch with all the 2,600 residents of the village in a rain-proof tent that has been readied for the purpose.
A total of 23 types of dishes, including mutton, chicken, lentils, green lentils, boti curry, fish, talakaya kura, egg, two types of sweets, palak paneer, biryani, pulihora, sambar, juices, potato, papads and more, form the menu.
The villagers are being given passes for identification and entry. In October last year, the Chief Minister had stopped by at Vasalamarri and interacted with the villagers and promised to pay a visit to the village. The State government has already decided to spend Rs 100 crore for the development of the village.
