Hyderabad: Indian Medical Association (IMA) Telangana is organising a virtual conclave on Diabetic Retinopathy in collaboration with National Programme for Control of Blindness and Visual Impairment, State government (NPCB&VI), S D Eye Hospital and Novartis from 3 pm to 5.30 pm on Tuesday. The conclave is envisaged to increase awareness on diabetes, diabetic retinopathy, and existing services available under government and private sectors, current mechanisms for early diagnosis of DR towards preventing permanent blindness due to DR etc. by various eminent doctors in the field.
