Hyderabad: Hinduja Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Hinduja Group, has taken up an initiative in the field of mental health and well-being and associated with Chopra Foundation, John Q Brick Mental Health Foundation and CG Creatives to co-sponsor a three-hour session – Spotlight India, on mental health. It is a part of Never Alone Global Mental Health (Virtual) Summit and the segment will have Sadhguru and Abhay Deol among others as speakers.

In 2015, a study conducted by the World Health Organization said that one in five Indians may suffer from depression in their lifetime, implying nearly 200 million people and out of that, only 10-12% seek mental health help. The foundation is conducting this session to spread awareness about the same.
