Hyderabad: School of Electronics Engineering, VIT-AP University in coordination with IEEE Guntur Subsection has virtually organised an international conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Signal Processing (AISP) 2022.

In his inaugural address, Intel Corporation Data Center and AI Group vice-president, Srinivas Lingam said the focus of the forum was to present the latest developments in the area of AI and Signal Processing besides bringing together the researchers and practitioners, from both academia and industry.


Santa Clara University, USA, professor Tokunbo Ogunfunmi said the conference was intended to publish papers with unique and novel contributions so that the innovations in this aspect were further accelerated.

Papers were based on advances in the theory, design, implementation, analysis, and verification, or empirical evaluation, applications of AI and signal processing in the design and development of state-of-art technology, professor. Ogunfunmi said.

VIT-AP University vice-chancellor, Dr SV Kota Reddy said more than 500 research papers were submitted out of which only 120 papers were accepted for presentation. However, 110 papers have been registered to be presented in 15 different sessions throughout the three-day conference which will conclude on February 14.
