VIT-AP University inks MoU with MKCI

Hyderabad: School of Advanced Sciences, VIT-AP University on Tuesday virtually signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Mitsui Kinzoku Components India Private Limited (MKCI).

Speaking on the occasion, VIT–AP University Vice-Chancellor, Dr SV Kota Reddy said the collaboration would help faculty and students get an opportunity to conduct advanced level collaborative research in sciences and technologies.


MKCI, managing director, Shimada Masakazu said industry professionals, scientists, professors, students can perform joint research ventures under the agreement. Many patents can be published and granted jointly.

VIT vice-president Dr Sekar Viswanathan, registrar Dr C L V Sivakumar, Career Development Centre, deputy director, Dr Pradeep Reddy CH, Dr Ido Youhei, advisor to R&D, Chino Shoko, assistant general manager, admin, Debasis Mohanty, assistant general manager, HR, and Dr Rajesh Kodiyath, assistant general manager, R&D, MKCI among others took part in the event.
