Vivekananda murder: CBI files chargesheet against four arrested

Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against four accused persons in the Court of Judicial Magistrate Pulivendula in Kadapa of Andhra Pradesh in connection with the murder of Y.S.Vivekananda Reddy, a senior leader of the YSRCP and uncle of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minsiter Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
According to a bureau press release, the CBI had registered a case on July 9, 2020 on the orders of High Court of Andhra Pradesh and took over the investigation of Cr. No. 84/2019, earlier registered at Police Station Pulivendula in Kadapa district. During investigation, the CBI had arrested two accused out of said four during August & September, 2021 and they are presently in judicial custody. The other two are on bail.
Vivekananda Reddy was murdered on March 15, 2019.
