Hyderabad: After almost 10 days of launching its X70 series in China, Vivo has announced the launch of its X70 series in India. The company has set the launch date for September 30 and this was announced at an event microsite created by Vivo. The X70 series include three models – Vivo X70, X70 Pro and X70 Pro+.
The microsite mentions that the smartphone series will get Zeiss optics with Zeiss T coating and will have an ultra-sensing gimbal camera that can take better images at night. The price of the smartphones has not been confirmed yet for India.
Both Vivo X70 and X70 Pro may look similar but differ in terms of camera. The regular Vivo X70 sports a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display and carries MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC with up to 12GB RAM. Its triple rear camera setup houses a 40-megapixel primary camera, and there is a 4,400mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge.
The Vivo X70 Pro also comes with a 6.56-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display but carries a Samsung Exynos 1080 SoC paired up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The phone features a quad rear camera system instead of a triple rear camera setup and is backed by a 4,450mAh battery with 44W Flash Charge fast charging. The Vivo X70 Pro+ comes as the flagship and sports a larger 6.78-inch Ultra-HD (1,440×3,200 pixels) AMOLED display.
