Hyderabad: GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited (GVIAL) that developed and operates Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport (Vizag Airport) has issued a strong caution to job seekers against fraudulent recruitment offers and communications falsely claiming to represent the airport, GVIAL or the GMR Group.
The advisory follows a recent instance of fraudulent recruitment communications being circulated in the name of the airport and its operator. Job seekers were advised not to respond to, make any payment in connection with or share personal or financial information with anyone claiming to offer employment unless the authenticity of the communication has been independently verified through official GMR channels.
GMR Group and Vizag Airport do not charge candidates any fee at any stage of the recruitment process. No job is offered in exchange for any payment and candidates should not pay any individual, agency or intermediary claiming to facilitate employment opportunities at the airport.
The airport further clarified that it does not conduct walk-in interviews for recruitment. All genuine job vacancies are published only through the official GMR Group Careers website: https://www.gmrgroup.com/careers >; https://careers.gmrgroup.in/, and candidates are required to apply or submit their applications through the official recruitment platform only.
