Visakhapatnam: While the dynamic Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy was making efforts to make Visakhapatnam as the executive capital of Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party president N. Chandrababu Naidu was trying to stall it by hook or crook, YSR Congress Party Rajya Sabha member and north Andhra representative of the party Vijaya Sai Reddy has observed.

Addressing road shows in the city on the concluding day of the campaign in the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation elections here on Monday, he noted that Visakhapatnam was most suited for executive capital. “The people are peace-loving and Vizag will be made executive capital for certain,” he stated.

District incharge minister K. Kannababu and Irrigation minister Anil Kumar Yadav accompanied the MP in the road shows.
